Terms of Use
Effective Date: June 1, 2025
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms and Conditions are intended to regulate the terms and procedures for using the musician matching platform service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”) provided by Muzikey (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definition)
1. “Service” means an online platform that connects musicians and bands provided by the Company.
2. “User” refers to members and non-members who receive services provided by the company in accordance with these terms and conditions.
3. “Member” refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the company, and who can continuously receive information from the company and continuously use the services provided by the company.
Article 3 (Specification, explanation and revision of terms and conditions)
1. The Company shall post the contents of these Terms and Conditions, the name and representative name, business location address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address, business registration number, etc. on the initial screen of the service or notify users through other means so that users can easily see them.
2. The Company may revise these Terms and Conditions if it deems necessary.
Article 4 (Provision and Change of Services)
1. The company performs the following tasks:
- Matching service between musicians and bands
- Profile registration and management service
- Message and communication services
- Performance information service
- Other tasks determined by the company
Article 5 (Service Fee)
The services provided by the company are basically free. However, some additional services may incur separate usage fees, in which case clear fee information will be notified in advance.
Article 6 (Membership Registration)
1. Users apply for membership by filling out membership information according to the registration form provided by the company and indicating their agreement to these terms and conditions.
2. The company will register as a member any user who has applied for membership as per Paragraph 1, unless he or she falls under any of the following:
- If there is any false information, omission, or error in the registration information
- In cases where it is determined that registering as a general member significantly hinders the company’s technology
Article 7 (Personal Information Protection)
The company does not disclose or distribute users' personal information to third parties without their consent. However, this does not apply in cases where there is a request from a government agency or other relevant law pursuant to telecommunications-related laws and regulations.
Article 8 (User Obligations)
1. Users must not perform the following actions:
- Registration of false information when applying or changing
- Stealing other people's information
- Changes to information posted by the company
- Transmission or posting of information (computer programs, etc.) other than information specified by the company
- Infringement on intellectual property rights, including copyrights, of the company or other third parties
- Acts that damage the reputation of the company or other third parties or interfere with business
- Acts of disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information that is against public order and morals to the company
Article 9 (Relationship between linked and linked sites)
When a parent site and a sub-site are connected through a method such as a hyperlink (e.g. the target of the hyperlink includes text, images, and moving images), the former is called a linked site (website) and the latter is called a linked site (website).
Article 10 (Copyright attribution and restrictions on use)
1. The copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by the company belong to the company.
2. Users must not use for profit or allow third parties to use for profit information obtained through the use of the Company, including information to which the Company holds intellectual property rights, by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting or any other method without the Company’s prior consent.
Article 11 (Contract Termination and Restrictions on Use)
1. When a member wishes to terminate the service agreement, the member must submit a termination request to the company online.
2. If a member falls under any of the following reasons, the company may terminate the service agreement or suspend the use of the service for a specified period without prior notice.
Article 12 (Compensation for damages)
The Company shall not be liable for any damages suffered by members in connection with services provided free of charge, except in cases where such damages are caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence.
Article 13 (Disclaimer)
1. The Company shall be exempt from liability for service provision if it is unable to provide the service due to a natural disaster or other force majeure.
2. The company is not responsible for any service disruption caused by the member’s fault.
Article 14 (Jurisdiction)
Any lawsuit regarding a dispute between the company and its members shall be brought before the Seoul Central District Court of the Republic of Korea.
These Terms and Conditions are effective as of June 1, 2025.
